Online Services
If you’re immuno-compromised, in a high-risk demographic, or are simply uncomfortable with gathering, no problem! The livestream isn’t going anywhere. We recommend you continue to attend church in your jammies. We’ll live-stream our services at 9 and 11 on Facebook and right here at ChristsCenter.com.
Live Services
Our live services happen at 9 & 11. What can you expect from a live service this fall? Keep reading to find out! (Also, keep in mind the fluid nature of this situation. As things change, we’ll let you know how we’re shifting our strategy.)
What You Can Expect at a Live Service During Phase 2
- We’ll respect social distancing and honor CDC guidelines. I know we love to hug, but let’s forgo the hugging and handshakes as much as we can. Seating in the sanctuary and cafeteria will be spaced out appropriately to let people sit with their families.
- We have an overflow room (the cafeteria) in case the sanctuary crowd gets too large
- We won’t be passing an offering box or handing out bulletins
- We’ll all be wearing masks*
Kids’ Church
Kids’ WILL be having kids church after worship in both services
- They will maintain social distancing
- Meeting in smaller groups
- Utilizing the outdoors when weather permits
Nursery WILL be open after worship during 1st service, and all through 2nd service
Open Heavens Room WILL be open through both services
*A Quick Word on Masks
Why are we asking you to wear a mask? Because we want to love our neighbors who are immuno-compromised. We want them to be able to attend, and we want to be sure that if anyone is carrying the virus (even a-symptomatically) that they will be safe. We consider masks to be a great example of “light momentary afflictions” (1 Corinthians 4:17) which we can easily endure for the sake of the gospel, and of those we love.
